We arrived around 9:30 PM and were told there was a one-hour wait for indoor seating, but luckily we got an outdoor table right away. We started with a beer and a cocktail—both were spot on. For appetizers, we had the coconut calamari and the papaya salad, both delicious. Our mains included the Massaman chicken and another dish I unfortunately don’t recall the name of, but they were both fantastic. We finished with the mango sticky rice—so good! Tory, our server, was lovely and very attentive. I’d definitely come back, especially with a reservation to enjoy the beautiful interior.

I thought the food was hit or miss. While I loved the fried banana blossom salad and couldn't stop eating it, I didn't like the vegetable dumplings. The texture was interesting and complex, but the flavor want there. The crispy duck curry was tasty, but the duck wasn't very crispy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. on the other hand, the pieces is loud and the tables are crammed together. Feels too busy, not good for conversation or an intimate dinner. The menu has tons of interesting dishes of modern and traditional Thai cuisine, but I'm not sure if I want to eat again somewhere so loud and busy.

So so so good! Everything we got here was delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful - they’ll let you know what can be customized and what can’t. It was super kid friendly too - we went with our toddler and the folks there gave us a really nice booth where we could easily let our toddler sleep. Definitely go and check out this place if you haven’t. Would recommend making a reservation before going. Great spot!

A big shoutout to the owner and the entire team behind this incredibly successful restaurant. From the vibrant atmosphere to the thoughtfully crafted food and drinks — we absolutely loved it. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender, who not only shared insights about the place but also guided us to some of the best dishes on the menu. What really stood out to me was the flavor profile: a perfectly balanced mix of sweet, sour, spicy, and salty — something many Thai restaurants tend to overdo. Here, it's done just right. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we're in NYC.

After visiting Thailand it’s been hard finding Thai food that ranks up in the states. This place exceeded expectations! A lot of the times when you ask for “Thai hot” the spice flavors are very one note and overpower the whole dish. What I really liked about Thai villa is that the spices had a strong kick but highlighted the other flavors so well (lemongrass, Thai basil, tamarind). There’s a lot of vegan options too and the servers were really friendly and explained what they can & can’t modify. The ambiance is gorgeous and they sat us on the second floor with a view of the whole restaurant. Also very reasonably priced! My friends and I split 3 dishes + 1 app and we paid like $30 including tax + tip. Which is really good for dinner at a popular restaurant in flatiron. Definitely coming back!!

Thai Villa is hands down the best Thai spot in NYC! The food quality, flavor, and consistency are unparalleled. It’s a must-visit, but make sure to book a reservation because this place is always packed. Every time I dine here, it’s such a comforting and satisfying experience. Truly a gem!

Thai Villa offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that beautifully complements its authentic Thai cuisine. During my visit, I sampled the Red Curry, Chicken Garlic, and Pad Thai—and each dish delivered in both flavor and presentation. The Red Curry was a standout: rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, with a balance of heat and sweetness that made every bite satisfying. The vegetables were fresh and tender, and the coconut base was aromatic without being overwhelming. The Chicken Garlic was simple but well-executed—tender slices of chicken in a savory garlic sauce that wasn’t too salty, with just the right amount of crisped garlic on top to add a burst of flavor. As for the Pad Thai, it hit all the right notes: chewy noodles, balanced sweetness and tang, and just the right amount of crunch from peanuts and fresh bean sprouts. Classic, comforting, and delicious. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the elegant decor made for a relaxing dining experience. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, Thai Villa delivers a consistently flavorful and satisfying Thai dining experience. Highly recommended for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Overall, it was a nice spot in NYC for some Thai food. Spend around $60 for two people. The place is always buzzing with people, so definitely make a reservation if you want to avoid a wait — it gets packed fast. We ordered the Green Thai Curry and the Chicken Satay spring roll. The curry had a good flavor overall, but since we opted for the spiciest level, we were expecting a bit more heat — it didn’t quite meet our expectations in that department. Flavor-wise, it was still enjoyable, though the inclusion of large bamboo shoots and pineapple didn’t really work for us. The bamboo pieces were a bit too big and the pineapple didn’t quite blend with the curry, but that might come down to personal taste. The satay was solid, and the peanut sauce was well-balanced. Overall, Thai Village has a nice vibe and is worth checking out. The food is generally good, but if you’re particular about spice levels or certain ingredients, it’s good to keep those details in mind.
